This course provides students with the skills needed to perform gas tungsten arc welds using ferrous and/or non-ferrous metals, according to applicable welding to codes. Topics include safe operating practices, equipment identification and set-up, correct selection of tungsten type, polarity, shielding gas and filler metals.
