This course provides a student with knowledge to preform gas tungsten arc welds using ferrous and/or non-ferrous metals, according to applicable welding codes. Topics include safe op- erating practice, equipment identification and set-up, correct selection of tungsten type, polarity, shielding gas and filler metals.
