Professional Issues

This course provides the practical application and integration of histology theory and practice using case studies. Topics in- clude laboratory operations and accreditation processes, pro- fessional and ethical issues, laboratory management principles and preparation for certification examination. Upon comple- tion, students should be able to demonstrate level skills as a histotechnician and be prepared to sit for the histotechnician certification examination.
