This course provides an introduction to manual and an computerassisted techniques of graphic communication employed by professional engineers. Topics include lettering; instrumental and computer- aided drafting; technical sketching; orthographic projection; pictorial, sectional, and auxiliary views; and dimensioning. This course also introduces students to the concepts and practices involved in using high-level computer environments to solve engineering problems.
