This course is designed to cover an intense study of structure and function of the cells and tissues that comprise dentition. Crown and root morphology receive in-depth study. Emphasis is placed on the embryologic development of dentition. Gross anatomy and histological considerations provide the foundation for the understanding of dental and oral disease.
