The biological activity of Cannabis sativa (marijuana) has been recognized for thousands of years, yet the understanding of the structures that elicit this activity and their mechanisms of action are relatively recent. This course will delve into the terminology and structural identities of the classical cannabinoids and extend into several new classes of synthetic analogs.
